Research

Lorenia Salgado-Leos is a Doctoral Candidate in Hispanic Studies at the University of British Columbia. Her dissertation, Infrastructures of Mobility, explores 21st century migrancy across the Americas. She focuses on movements from Haiti, Central America, Mexico, and the United States. Her research interests include Borders, (Post)Migration, and (Im)Mobility Studies; Posthegemony; Latin American Literature, Culture, and Politics; and Philosophy.
